Building Blocks (Children’s Ministry)
The Vision of Building Blocks
For generations of families faithfully following Christ who love God, understand the Gospel, and can share their faith with others
(Deuteronomy 6:4-9, 2 Timothy 3:14-15, Psalm 78:4-7)
The Mission of Building Blocks
To partner with parents, who are the primary disciplers of their children, to disciple them to love God, understand the Gospel,
and prepare them to share their faith with others
Children are a gift from the Lord and we joyfully take part in their journey to know and love Jesus.
Sunday school is available for children in preschool until Grade 6. Families will start all together in Sunday Celebration to sing songs and pray with the church. Children will then be dismissed before the sermon begins and taken to the Building Blocks area with the teachers. Parents may pick up their children after Sunday Celebration is over.
During Building Blocks, children will sing songs, learn catechism songs, and have age-appropriate gospel-centered Bible lessons with related activities and discussion. We rotate curricula between Truth78, Praise Factory, and The Biggest Storybook Bible.
We also have a room designated for babies and toddlers under 3 years old, located in the Building Blocks Area, with a live audio feed of the main service.
